- Suitable for families
After the floods of the Bietschbach in 1414 and 1494, the severely damaged village church was rebuilt. In order to protect it from further flooding, it was reconstructed on the castle hill. Next to the famous castle church two other buildings are situated on the castle in Raron, the old vicarage and the medieval residential tower. The tower was built about 150 years before the church.
