The bisse Stigwasser is the second lowest of four irrigation channels, which were directed from the Gredetsch valley to the hillside of Mund. The traces of these four irrigation channels are still very well detectable from the left side of the valley. The 3,6 km long Stigwasser was first documented in regulations from 1521. The Suone runs partly through spectacular terrain and steep rock sections and directs today the water of the Mund brook exclusively for tourist purposes to Mund. Therefore it is often dry in low-rainfall periods.
